Dr Steve Daley who is Technical Director of EMS studied for his PhD with Prof Charles Rees OBE at Imperial College where he was the first chemist to work in the area of the reactions of inorganic sulphur nitrides with organic molecules. His time in industry has been spent with Amersham international as a 14c radio-chemist, Seal Sands Chemicals as R&D manager and ICI Huddersfield as a senior chemist. He has been with EMS since 1992 and has extensive chemical experience including working in the Far East and USA. He is a Chartered chemist and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. He has published over 10 scientific papers and patents and these include: Environmental legislation and the Fine Chemical Industry, Fine Chemical World, 1994, 1(12),3.
Other members of staff are all Chartered Chemists or Chemical Engineers with experience in all forms of the chemical industry. |
